Lok Janshakti Party, LJP, today released the second list of nine candidates for Bihar assembly polls. The party has withdrawn its candidate from Chakai constituency.
Hindustani Awam Morcha, HAM, chief Jitan Ram Manjhi had sought Chakai Assembly seat, for which LJP had also staked its claim as it falls under Lok Sabha constituency of LJP MP Chirag Paswan.
Announcing the names at a press conference in New Delhi, Chirag Paswan said his party wanted to contest on both Chakai and Jamui seats, but it compromised in order to avoid infighting within the NDA.
With this, LJP has so far released the name of 21 candidates. The party is contesting on 40 seats in Bihar.
