The Election Commission today issued notification for the second phase of assembly election. 32 constituencies spread over six districts will go to polls in this phase on October 16.
Last date of filing nomination paper is 28th of this month. Scrutiny will be done the next day i.e. on 29th September.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination paper till 1st October. The election for the second phase of election will be held in the districts of Kaimur, Rohtas, Arwal, Jehanabad, Aurangabad and Gaya.
Elections for the 243 member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between the 12th of next month and the 5th of November.
Counting will be held on 8th November.The term of the current Assembly expires on 29th November.
