He was arrested at Bada adanga village in Brahmagiri, about 80 km from Bhubaneswar. The MLA is likely to be produced at a Bhubaneswar court Tuesday. Earlier, the Police had arrested six alleged criminals from the residence of the MLA on 1st of February this year at Bhubaneswar after a brief encounter.
Still with Odisha, a top Maoist leader has been killed during an exchange of fire between the security forces and the red ultra at Mundatola under Chandiposh police station, about 40 km from Rourkela early this morning. The dead Maoist is identified as Nuash alias Sameer Khalko and is said to be the area commander of Chandiposh.
