The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh yadav today discussed shiksha mitra issue with his ministers, senior officials and a delegation of shiksa mitra following the Allahabad High judgment.
The Chief Minister assured the shiksha mitras that their teaching status would be protected and government is looking for alternative ways to protect their jobs . In the meeting the method adopted by Maharashtra government was also discussed with another delegation came from of Maharashtra .
The meeting also discussed current crisis in primary schools due to ongoing agitation of shiksha mitra. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav appealed to visiting delegation that shiksha mitra should continue their school works because government is with them in this crisis.
