A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) reached Kolhapur today for investigating Govind Pansare murder case. Earlier, a three-member CBI team from Pune investigated further details about the case in Kolhapur.
The CBI team also sought details regarding Samir Gaikwad, member of Sanatan Sanstha, who has been arrested in connection with the murder on Wednesday last.
The CBI team met the arrested suspect and other persons including a woman from Mumbai and a man from Sankeshwar in Karnataka. Documents were recovered by the police from Gaikwad’s house.
