The results have been declared for the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2016 conducted for admissions to the IITs. Over 36,500 students out of the 1.5 lakh candidates who took the exam, have qualified for admissions into IITs. Jaipur’s Aman Bansal has topped the exam followed by Bhavesh Dhingra and Kunal Goyal.
Topper Aman Bansal said he studied for seven to eight hours everyday to prepare for the tests. There are 10,575 seats across 23 IITs this time, which is around 569 more than last year.
