Union Social Justice Minister Ramdas Athawle said that he would ask Maharashtra Chief Minister to seek a CID probe into a recent murder case of a 15-year-old Dalit boy from Navi Mumbai.
Swapnil Sonawane from Nerul Navi Mumbai, was on Tuesday brutally beaten up by the family members of a girl, with whom he was allegedly in a relationship with.
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai on Saturday, Athwale said that the incident is gravely heinous and the case should be run at a fast track court.
