Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called upon students to work innovatively to bring solution for challenges facing India and the world. Addressing centenary year convocation today at Banaras Hindu University campus, prime minister lauded the role played by the university in its one hundred years.
Remembering Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya’s great role and sacrficises for the university, he appealed to students they should follow the core of Mahamana’s vision for the university where education with values and tradition are equally important. On this occasion, prime minister and chancellor of the University Dr. Karan Singh gave away BHU medals to 34 meritorious students.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the World is facing several challenges and we should think about what role India can play in overcoming these challenges.
Prime Minister said, we should always dream big.

He further said that here should be start of learning and not the end of it. He added that to attain success, every student in us must remain alive.
The Prime Minister said that curiosity in a person, strengthens the roots of development. The Prime Minister earlier gave off awards to the students during the convocation.
