India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves have jumped by 827.4 million US Dollars to 350.805 billion dollars in the week ended 2nd October. A RBI press release said that foreign currency assets, a major part of the overall reserves, grew by 717.6 million dollars to 327.295 billion dollars.
The Gold reserves slightly increased by 116.5 million dollars to 18.151 billion dollars at the end of the reporting week, while the special drawing rights fell by 1.7 million dollars to touch 4.047 billion dollars. India’s reserve position with the International Monetary Fund also declined by 5 million dollars to 1.311 billion dollars.
