An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred 67 kilometres West of Murghob today. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake, originating at a depth of 20.5 km, was felt at 06:07 Indian Standard Time. No casualties have been reported so far. More details are awaited.
