Image result for hang indian awaazA Jamatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist has been executed for his role in a 2005 blast that killed two judges. Asadul Islam alias Arif was executed in Khulna jail after Bangladesh Supreme Court upheld his death sentence in August for the blast.

Arif and six other top JMB members including its founder Shayakh Abdur Rahman were sentenced to death on May 29, 2006 for killing judges Jagannath Pare and Sohel Ahmed. Death sentence of the militants except Arif were executed on March 29, 2007.

Arif, who was absconding was later arrested on July 10, 2007. He filed the petition with the Supreme Court this year seeking review of its judgement.
