Unknown armed men have gunned down three personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) in Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan on Friday, reports Pakistan media.

FC sources said that the cops were patrolling on feet in Abdullah Jan Square when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them.

Two FC cops were killed on the spot in the firing while another sustained injuries. The injured cop succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment in Bolan Medical Complex.

Following the incident, the gunmen fled the scene. Security forces started search operation in the area. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
