Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said the ‘outdated’ word cannot apply. The country is consistent about the issue and Pakistan knows this.
In a Twittered message Mrs. Rao said at the same time, there is no denying the need for sober and reasoned dialogue between India and Pakistan on all issues that complicate the relations.

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir had described as “outdated” India’s demand for action against the perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai attacks in wake of the killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
