The Bihar State Women’s Commission celebrated its 24th Foundation Day today with a special function held at the Adhiveshan Bhavan in Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the ceremony and launched a dedicated website for the Commission, enabling women across the state to register their complaints and grievances online with greater ease and transparency.
The event witnessed the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with National Women’s Commission Chairperson Vijay Rahatkar and State Women’s Commission Chairperson Apsara Mishra.
Marking the occasion, a “Mahila Jagriti Samvad” was organised to spread awareness among women about their legal rights and entitlements. The initiative aims to strengthen women’s participation in society and provide them with a reliable platform for grievance redressal.
