Rashtriya Janata Dal, RJD has claimed that Mahagatbandhan or the grand alliance government in Bihar is intact. After party legislators meeting in Patna Party senior leader and Finance Minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui said BJP is trying to destablise Nitish Kumar government but their dreams will not be fulfilled.
Mr. Siddiqui said the BJP was spreading politics of hate. He said party will counter BJP in effective manner. He said The Party endorsed Lalu’s leadership backing his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and unity in the party .He said no question arises of the resignation of Mr. Tejaswi in view of CBI raids.
Mr. Siddiqui said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar talked Lalu Yadav yesterday in wake of CBi and ED raids.
Meanwhile, JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav today said the CBI raids on RJD Chief Lalu Prasad and his family are aimed at stalling the progress of Grand Alliance.
Talking to media in Delhi, Mr Yadav said the attempt is to derail RJD and JD(U) alliance in Bihar. CBI had last week conducted raids against Lalu Prasad on corruption charges during his tenure as Union Rail Minister.
Replying to a query, Mr Yadav said opposition parties will meet tomorrow to discuss and deliberate on Vice Presidential poll.
