NEW DELHI: The Opposition demand for a JPC probe into 2G spectrum scam continued to rock Parliament for the 11th working day in a row today. While the Lok Sabha was first adjourned till noon and then upto 3.30 P.M. following uproar over the issue, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for an hour and then till 2.30 P.M. amidst a minor scuffle between the DMK and the AIADMK members. As reported the government has already ruled out adjourning the two houses sine die before schedule because of the deadlock over the issue. The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Narayansamy has said that the members who are not allowing the two houses of Parliament to function should not take the daily allowance. He was speaking to reporters outside Parliament Friday. The BJP spokesperson Prakash Javdekar on the other hand reiterated the demand for a JPC probe into 2G spectrum.

Expressing similar sentiments, the Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari criticised the BJP led opposition for stalling the proceedings of the two houses of Parliament. He said that the government is ready for debating the issue of 2G spectrum and what transpired on the issue during the NDA and the UPA regime will become clear.
The BJP spokesperson Prakash Javdekar on the other hand reiterated the demand for JPC probe into 2G spectrum.
Renowned film maker and member of Rajya Sabha Shyam Benegal today said that the government and the Opposition should find a way out to break the logjam on 2G spectrum. He told reporters outside Parliament that it is the third week in a row that both houses have not been able to function smoothly.
