India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Monday said, this day marks eight years of Narendra Modi Government’s foreign policy that has people at its centre. In a series of tweets, Mr Jaishankar said, this is a diplomacy for India’s development, security and civilisation and a diplomacy that serves its people. Dr Jaishankar said, there have been sweeping changes in passport delivery which makes it faster, corruption-free and closer to people’s location. He added that Narendra Modi Government has ensured safety and security of Indians abroad through Vande Bharat Mission during COVID, Operation Ganga in Ukraine and many more.
Dr Jaishankar said, welfare fund has been expanded for workers and the vulnerable. He said, there are greater work opportunities, for Indian talent, professionals, workers and students. He stressed that NDA Government is supporting Indian investments and exports and creating employment at home. It is supporting citizens as they explore the global workplace. The Minister said, the foreign policy of NDA Government ensures National Security through trusted relationships and international support.
