
Samajwadi Party has said that it will not do anything in Gujarat Assembly Polls to weaken struggle against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
Talking to media persons today at Lucknow, Party’s National President and UP’s former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced, his party will support Congress in Gujarat Assembly Polls.
He said, his party will contest on only five assembly seats in Gujarat and for remaining seats, party leaders and workers will extend support to Congress.
Replying to a question he said he himself will campaign in the State for party’s candidate and Congress nominees.
SP’s Gujarat Unit President Surendra Singh Yadav said that his party will contest from North Gujarat and Saurashtra region segments. He said, party candidates will be announced very soon.
He said party’s national President Akhilesh Yadav will campaign in Gujarat polls against BJP.
