Four army jawans were killed while two seriously injured in a snow avalanche at Changla pass in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Three bodies of victims have so far recovered from site and one is still missing.

Two army jawan who are critically injured in the accident have shifted to army command hospital in Chandigrah on Saturday for advance treatment after first necessary treatment at Leh and Tangtse.

The army, district police and the BRO have jointly conducted search operation for the missing jawan for whole day today but till now they have not got the victim.

Three army vehicles of the army canvoy come under the snow avalanche caused by the high velocity of wind last evening around 1730 hrs when they were travelling from Tangtse to Leh and rolled down around 600 feet from the road.
