In Chhattisgarh, twenty-one Maoists have surrendered in Kanker district today. These include thirteen women Maoists. The ultras handed over eighteen weapons to the police. These include three AK-47 rifles, four SLRs, and other arms and explosive materials.
According to police sources, the surrendered Maoists were active in various parts of the Bastar division for a long time.
