Four persons were killed and several others injured when police mercilessly fired on innocent people who were protesting against the blockage of their road on June 3.

Just before the house met RJD, Congress and LJP MLAs holding placards held demonstration in the entrance of the assembly.

They shouted anti-government slogans and slammed the Nitish Kumar government for its alleged failure to prevent the police firing on innocent people in Forbesganj.

After the protests, the opposition MLAs walked into the House with the placards against the police firing and alleged deterioration in law and order in Bihar.

Opposition leaders holding placards saying “Bihar ko Gujarat bananeki sajish band karo” (stop, making Bihar another Gujarat), “Ager Aqaliyaton ka khoon bahega, NDA Sashan doobega (If minority’s blood is shed, the NDA government will sink) and “Forbesganj main masoomon ko qatl kerne walon ko griftar karo” (Arrest those who killed innocent in Forbesganj).
