External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has wished a speedy recovery of an American, who was injured while intervening in the shooting that killed an Indian engineer in the United States.
In a tweet, Mrs Swaraj yesterday said, India salutes the heroism of Ian Grillot. Twenty-four-year old Grillot tried to intervene and received injuries in the firing.He is recovering in a hospital after being shot in the hand and chest.
In the tragic incident, Indian engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla was killed and Alok Madasani was injured. Meanwhile, the mortal remains of Srinivas Kuchibhotla reached his home at the outskirts of Hyderabad.
