Sharad Yadav-led JD(U) faction today announced to form a new party in the next ten days. Recently, the Election Commission had rejected this faction’s claim over the party’s poll symbol.
The rebel group leader Arun Shrivastava said, their fight over the control of JD(U) will continue in the court simultaneously.
Shrivastava said, his faction will soon meet Election Commission over the name and symbol of the new outfit. He said, the group’s lone MLA, Chhotu Vasava from Gujarat, will fight the state polls under the banner of the newly formed Bhartiya Tribal Party.
After opposing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s move to break alliance with RJD and join hands with the BJP, Sharad Yadav had approached the poll body claiming that he represents the real JD(U) but Commission rejected the claim.
