NEW DELHI (TIA): The leaders of schedule caste and schedule tribe have demanded reservation for their communities in the private sector. They said that the reservation in Private Sector was the matter of life and death for them.
At a two day national Convention of All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations here, the representatives of these communities said that many government sectors were becoming private sectors in India and private companies were mushrooming, where the employments were given to people of a selected group of the society only. They said that Dalits and oppressed section of the society were not getting any employment in those companies.
