In Gaza, ruling Hamas Islamists executed five Palestinians today. Hamas-run Interior Ministry said, two of them has been executed on charges of espionage for Israel that dated back to 2015 and 2009. Three others were also executed on charges of murder.
Since 2007, when they asserted control over Gaza, the Hamas-run authorities have carried out at least 27 executions, most recently in April 2017. Human rights groups have previously condemned such executions by Hamas.
