It refers to absolutely unnecessary criticism by some BJP leaders on Congress President Rahul Gandhi wearing alleged rupees 64000 worth jacket while his tour to Meghalaya. Children of normal middle-income families quite often wear such clothes where price-tag of just rupees 64000 (less after normal discounts) for a jacket is not at all significant in life-style of present days. Even politicians across the parties also wear such moderately priced clothes.
Top BJP leadership should in larger interest of party should condemn their party-members for highlighting such petty issues, which even tends to bounce back. It may be recalled that even Prime Minister was very much in news for wearing alleged rupees ten-lakh suit with his name embodied in entire suit-length. Criticism led the suit to be auctioned for a public cause.
