The new anti-corruption mechanism draft would be presented to the standing committee of Parliament which looks the issues of Lokpal Bill.

First this group will study the various forms of existing drafts including Lokpal, Jan Lokpal and Bahujan Lokpal carefully and find out loopholes in the draft according to their point of view.

“We will try to suggest improvements, especially from the perspective of minorities and other weaker groups in the draft. But if we feel there is a need of separate draft bill from our perspective, we would go for it” said a member of the group.

The decision was taken at a meeting of 15 top jurists from community who met at the headquarters of Institute of Objective Studies (IOS) here on Sunday.

They formed a sub group of five eminent jurists including Justice A M Ahmadi, former Chief Justice of India, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, advocate, Mr. Yusuf Hatim  Muchhala, advocate Bombay High Court, Mr. S.M.
