Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, RSS today said, that NDA government was moving in a right direction and achievements during 14 months of its rule were good. Briefing media after a three day coordination meeting with BJP and its affiliates in New Delhi, Joint General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said that BJP will deliver on its promises made during Lok Sabha polls.

On the issue of implementation of One Rank One Pension Scheme, he exuded confidence that government will solve this matter expeditiously.

He also said that BJP Chief Amit Shah said during the Coordination meet that the government will soon resolve the issue. On construction of Ram Mandir, Mr Hosabale said that Sangh does not demand it and it only follows the footprints of Saints of the Hindu society on the issue. He also said, education must be geographically accessible, financially affordable and socially inclusive.

The Congress today said that the Prime Minister and the Union Ministers are making presentations to the RSS as if the Sangh is the supreme government. Party spokesperson Shaktisinh Gohil told reporters in New Delhi that if RSS is an apolitical organisation, as it claims, why it is interfering in the functioning of the government. He said, ex-servicemen are on hunger strike but the Prime Minister instead of listening to them is visiting RSS leadership.
