The newly elected members will be immediately issued Permanent Identity Cards on their arrival in Parliament House unlike earlier when they were issued temporary passes. Guide Posts have also been set up at IGI Airport and Railway Stations in Delhi to receive them on their arrival.
The Secretariat has also set up Guide Posts at Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminals I, II and III), New Delhi Railway Station (both Ajmeri Gate and Paharganj side), Old Delhi Railway Station, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and Anand Vihar Railway Station to receive the newly-elected Members. These Guide Posts will function on 23rd May 2019 from 6 PM to 11 PM and thereafter from 24th to 28th May, 2019 from 5 AM to 11PM. These Guide Posts are basically Reception Centres where Members will be received on their arrival in the capital.
As in the past, Room No. 62, FF, Parliament House will function as the Facilitation Centre for the new Members, which will be functional from 23 May 2019(AN) to 28 May 2019. This time all formalities and paper-work relating to the registration, salary and allowances, nominations, transit accommodation and a host of other matters would be got completed at a single desk. Medical Posts will also function on a 24X7 basis in Parliament House and Western Court.
For any assistance with regard to various Members’ facilities, such as Transit Accommodation, Regular Accommodation, Telephone connections, Diplomatic Passports, etc., the Members may contact Members’ Service Branch, Room No. 402, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi (Telephone Nos. 23034402 and 23034452) on all working days during the office hours.
