It has also asked Cameramen/Photographers/Crew members not to take photographs of any private individual/group inside the Parliament House Estate without approval. The notification issued today did not mention any exemption to the Lok Sabha TV, Rajya Sabha TV and Doordarshan from the new regulations.

In a letter to the Editors-in-Chief /Group Head of all accredited electronic channels, Press and Public Relations section of the Lok Sabha secretariat has asked them to advise all accredited journalists and camerapersons not to use any such device/technology for direct telecast from Parliament House Complex. It has also asked them to advise their representatives to abide by Guidelines meant for Cameramen/Photographers/Crew Members.  In the notification media persons have been advised to observe the decorum in consonance with the dignity of Parliament.

According to new guideline, Cameramen/Photographers/Crew members should not take photographs of any private individual/group inside the Parliament House Estate without approval.

The guideline advised the Cameramen/Photographers/Crew members not engage in arguing with the Security personnel on duty.
The letter said that the Press Advisory Committee of Lok Sabha, in its meeting on 15 February 2011, has recommended that no Electronic Channel shall use any technical device to telecast live proceedings/events from the Parliament House Complex till further decision in the matter.
