Books were worshipped in Kerala yesterday evening as part of the Navaratri celebrations. Today, Ayudha Pooja will be observed, marking the ritual worship of tools and equipment. Vidyarambam, the ceremony marking of beginning of formal education, will be held on Thursday morning.
