The Kerala Legislative Assembly session began today in Thiruvananthapuram. The House was adjourned for the day after paying homage to former Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan, former Speaker P. P. Thankachan, and Vazhoor Soman MLA. In the coming days, the government is expected to table several bills, including one that seeks to simplify procedures for neutralising wild animals that stray into human-inhabited areas.
