Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said, Iran crossed a red line, forcing his army to strike its bases in Syria. In a statement, Mr Netanyahu said, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) carried out a wide-ranging attack against Iranian targets. He asserted that Iran will not be allowed to establish a military presence in Syria.

Israeli Army and Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman have claimed that the overnight clash between the Iranian and Israeli armies, was a setback to Iran’s military capabilities by many months.
