Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur today launched the official calendar of the Government of India for the year 2023 at a function in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thakur said that this calendar is a reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas.

He said, this calendar includes 12 impressive images depicting different themes of a changing and growing India. Mr. Thakur added that this calendar not only depicts images on different themes but also is a medium of taking pride in the country’s achievement as well as fulfilling the commitment made for the future.

The Minister said, this calendar will remind the people about the Panch Pran of the Prime Minister’s clarion call of making India a developed country by 2047.

He informed that women’s empowerment and food security programmes are also highlighted in this calendar. The Union Minister further informed that the calendar will be available in eleven other languages in addition to Hindi and English.

Information and Broadcasting Minister noted that All India Radio News and DD News have been recognised as the two most trusted networks for disseminating news. He also informed that the subscription base of Prasar Bharati’s youtube channel has also crossed the two crore mark.
