Says his success will inspire others

At a time when Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a difficult times facing violence and terror, some youths from state are ready to die for unity and integrity of India and they are not even hesitating to join armed forces.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today met Nabel Ahmad Wani who topped the examination for commandant in Border Security Force, BSF.

“This topper’s story should inspire the other youth in Kashmir”, said Rajnath.

Nabel Ahmad Wani, belongs to a poor family of Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir,

Singh said he was immensely happy to meet Nabel Ahmad Wani, a young man from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir, who topped the BSF assistant commandant examination recently.

“The success story of Nabeel shows that youths in Jammu and Kashmir have lot of potential and his success will inspire many young boys and girls in the state,” he said.

Wani was accompanied by Director General of BSF K K Sharma when he met the Home Minister, who also wished Wani success and bright future in life.

The Home Minister also introduced Wani to top officials, including NSA Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi and others, who had come for a meeting with Singh during that time.

Wani said that he felt unemployment was the biggest problem being faced by the youth which can only be solved by education.

Wani, who is currently serving as a junior engineer in Udhampur, said it was his dream to join the defence forces and serve the country which has now been fulfilled.

“The more we get education the better and more jobs we will get. We cannot get education by taking to stones but by holding a pen,” Wani said.
