Heavy rainfall recorded in many part of Uttar Pradesh including Meerut division today. Some areas of western and eastern UP have also recorded light rain till this noon. With cloudy sky and light rain recorded in some places today, the state met department predicts that rain and thunder shower will occur throughout the state in next forty-eight hours.
Some places in the state, especially northern parts will also receive heavy rain fall by tomorrow . However Bijnore reason has recorded maximum 90 millimeter rain fall in last twenty four hour.Due to heavy rain in neighboring hilly areas the water level of almost all the river has increased but rivers are flowing below the danger marks.
Only Sharda River in Palikalan is flowing above the danger mark. Meanwhile farmers in the state are also hoping for good rain fall in coming days because this the high time for paddy sowing.
