Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has said that he will write to the Prime Minister and the Home minister to request instituting a CBI enquiry into the bribe 9.76 lakh US dollar allegedly given to a minister in Goa in 2010. The bribes were paid for to win a water and sewage project in Goa.
Revelations surfaced after Federal prosecutors presented documents in a New Jersey court yesterday. CM said said since the matter has surfaced in a court it needs to be investigated by the National Agency CBI.
