A 15 year old boy was washed away in flash floods after a cloudburst hit Yousmarg area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district in Jammu & Kashmir,. Police Control Room official confirmed the deceased Mukhtyar Ahmad Gorsi was grazing cattle in upper areas of Yousmarg when the incident took place. His body was fished out from Hakdiyaji Nallah in Pakherpora area of Yousmarg.
He added that cloudbursts triggering landslides, have also hit North Kashmir’s Kalaroos area in Kupwara district and also Brah Succh Mattan in North Kashmir’s Ananatnag district. One 50 year old man Ali is reported to be dead after cloudburst hit Turtuk sector in Leh district in Ladakh division.
Meanwhile, Srinagar Ladakh highway was restored for one way vehicular traffic movement with remaining stranded vehicles being cleared.
