Within 24 hours Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again hit out at Gao Rakshak (Cow vigilants) saying they were trying to divide society and the country.

Speaking at a rally at Medak in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked people to beware of its ‘fake’ protectors who are trying to divide society and the country.

He asked the states to severely punish them. Terming cattle as country’s wealth, Mr Modi said a handful of people were trying to create tension in the society in the name of cow protection.

The Prime Minister asked the states to identify the people who want to destroy the social fabric. He said there is a need to “expose” these people so that they do not succeed in their nefarious designs.

Breaking his long silence over growing Cow vigilantism in the country yesterday,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that such people do so only to cover their ‘anti social’ activities. Calling for action against criminals donning garb of cow vigilantes, he urged States to prepare dossier of their activities. He said, most of them will be found to be involved in illegal activities.
