Taking serious note of complaints filed by political parties of partisan conduct by some district officials in poll-bound West Bengal, the Election Commission has cautioned Police officials of Malda, Murshidabad, Birbhum and Burdwan assemblies.
Addressing a Press conference after holding a series of review meetings on poll preparations, Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Nasim Zaidi said strict directives to all the concerned authorities for creating impartial, secure and safe conducive environment have been issued.
