Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav led Samjwadi party government in Uttar Pradesh, today completed four years in the office. Several programmes are being organized in all the district head quarters as “samajwadi Vikas diwas” today.
A special progrmmes was organized in Chief Minister official residence in Lucknow today which was mainly focused on “power sector reforms” in the state.
Chief Minister also launched Samajwadi sungandh yojana for international branding of famous Kannuj scent. Several initiatives especially for power sector has also been announced during the programme.
The state government today announced that rural areas will get 14-16 hours power supply and urban areas will receive electricity 20 to 24 hours from today. State government has also announced that metro cities now will get round the clock electricity.
Meanwhile, opposition BJP and Congress both criticized the state government and said that state is suffering severely from deteriorating law and order problems and several illegal activities allegedly being sheltered by ruling Samajwadi leaders.
