A case of sexual exploitation of a woman has come to light in the UP Bhawan in the national capital Delhi. The woman has given a complaint to the Delhi Police in this matter. Following the complaint, the Delhi Police, which is probing the case, has sealed the room in the UP Bhavan, where the sexual exploitation of the girl allegedly took place.

On the other hand, the UP government has taken the matter seriously and has ordered departmental inquiry into it. The Govt has also suspended some staffs of the Bhavan. However, the Delhi Police engaged in the investigation of the case is refraining from making any comment in this matter. According to the police, the allegations are still being investigated.

The woman told the police that Mr Parmar told her that there were two ministers inside the room who could help her build a career. But when she went inside, there was no one in the room.

He later closed the room from inside and assaulted her, she alleged.

Security cameras from the building showed the man and woman inside the building. The room where they stayed at the UP Bhavan, room number 122, has been sealed ahead of forensic tests.

Sources said they had allotted a room to the accused even though he is not eligible to book a room. Government guest houses in the national capital usually host government employees.

Rajyavardhan Singh Parmar had claimed that he was booking the room for a government officer and wanted to see it before taking a call, sources said.

According to Indian Express Delhi Police have registered an FIR against a leader of the Maharana Pratap Sena after a woman alleged that he sexually assaulted her at the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Bhavan in the National Capital last week.

The complainant said the political leader took her to the state guest house in New Delhi on the pretext of meeting two ministers, but abused her.

Officials said the accused allegedly got one of the rooms at the Bhavan opened for him by taking a senior officer’s name. The police have sealed the room for investigation.
