Scores of people remain in intensive care following suicide Tuesday’s bomb attacks in Brussels that left 35 people dead. Belgium’s Health Minister, Maggie de Block said that of about 300 wounded people, 61 were still in a critical condition, and suggested that the death toll could rise further. Prosecutors confirmed they have identified three of the four attackers.

Brothers Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui carried out attacks at Zaventem airport and Maalbeek metro station, while bomb-making expert Najim Laachraoui was identified by police sources as the other airport bomber. The manhunt for a fourth man whose suitcase bomb failed to detonate intensified.

So-called Islamic State (IS) has said it was behind the attacks. EU Interior and Justice Ministers are due to hold a crisis meeting in Brussels today to discuss their response to the bombings.
