Samajwadi Party, an ally of Janata Pariwar, staked its claim on 12 seats for the upcoming Bihar polls. The party had earlier sought 17 seats but revised its claim and submitted a list of 12 Assembly seats to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
A final decision on the Samajwadi Party’s claim would be taken by the RJD Chief today. The Samajwadi Party had protested denial seat in the grand alliance for Bihar Assembly polls.
The Grand Alliance has announced 100 seats each to JDU and RJD, while Congress was given 40 seats. But there was no announcement for the Samajwadi Party.
