Expelled RJD MP Pappu Yadav today said he was open to join hands with BJP for upcoming assembly elections in Bihar if the ruling party at Centre puts aside controversial issues including construction of Ram Temple and focuses on development of the state. Announcing his new political outfit, Jan Adhikar Party in New Delhi, Mr. Yadav urged BJP to restrain its leaders like Yogi Adityanath and Sakshi Maharaj from making controversial remarks as such comments are impediments in development.
He said in the upcoming Bihar election, development and employment for youth will be the main issues and not caste and religion. The MP came down heavily on RJD Chief Lalu Prasad and JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alleging that they have ruined the state. Mr. Yadav also alleged that the two leaders have not done anything for lower sections of the society.
The Madhepura MP who was expelled from RJD last month enjoys clout in Kosi region of state and can play a spoilsport, especially for RJD-JD(U) alliance, in the elections.
