Nearly 8 thousand Precautionary doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered today in Assam. Several eminent medical practitioners and eligible eminent senior citizens took the jab at Guwahati. On the other hand, 6.9 lakh teenagers aged between 15 to 18 years have taken COVID vaccine so far in the state. Apart from administering vaccines, various district administrations have taken steps to impose COVID appropriate behavior. A team of senior officials conducted surprise raids at various malls in Guwahati and imposed fines on violators.
