BJP National President Amit Shah has urged the people of Goa to return the party to power with a two-thirds majority. Addressing public meetings, yesterday evening at Vasco and Margao in South Goa, Mr Shah reached out to the voters of Goa, highlighting his party’s developmental agenda.
Mr Shah said that the Congress is synonymous with corruption and the people must vote for stability and development. He also blamed the Congress rule for the stunted growth of the mining industry in the state. He said, the decision on defence minister Parrikar’s role in Goa will be taken only after the elections. He further added that the people must vote keeping in mind that the government will work under Parrikar’s guidance.
