Ambassador of India to Israel JP Singh has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel will be a historic one. Talking to Akashvani in Jerusalem today, Mr Singh said, besides holding talks with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr Modi will meet the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog and will address the Parliament of Israel, Knesset.’ He said that when Prime Minister Modi visited Israel in 2017, he, along with Mr Netanyahu, had laid the foundation for strengthening the bilateral ties. Mr Singh said now it’s time to build on that strategic partnership and take it to a new phase. He said that several agreements will be signed after the talks between the two Prime Ministers.
The Indian Envoy said the visit is important in the context that the Israeli ecosystem andthe Indian ecosystem complement each other. He said the talks will focus on innovation, Science and Technology, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, Quantum, and other areas.
