Two terrorists were killed in an ongoing gunfight with security forces in Bahmnoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama today.
A police spokesman told MEDIA that the operation, which began this morning, is in progress. Some more terrorists are reportedly holed up in the area.
Meanwhile, a youth was hit by a bullet in the exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists. He has been shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment. Details are awaited.
Meanwhile, a policeman and a civilian were injured in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman told AIR that terrorists attacked a police party at bus stand in Anantnag town, leaving a policeman and a woman injured. Reports said, the condition of injured policeman, identified as Ghulam Hassan of IRP 16 Battalion, is stated to be critical in Srinagar hospital. A manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
