Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today paid homage to the two soldiers who laid down their lives in terrorist attack yesterday in Jammu and Kashmir in a wreath laying ceremony. The mortal remains reached Palam Airport in New Delhi and they will be flown for last rites to their native places where they will be laid to rest with full military honours.

Naik Dipak Maity and Gunner (Operator) Manivannan were martyred in a militant attack on an Army convoy in Qazigund. Talking to media, the Army Chief said they have gathered to pay homage to the two soldiers. He said work is worship for a soldier and they are often told that work is worship.
